fish stocking
The Bundaberg Sportfishing Club Inc. also encompasses the local Fish Stocking Committee.
Through this Committee we stock some of the local dams and rivers such as Lake Gregory, the upper reaches of the Burnett River and Elliott River, as well as Splitters Creek.
Funding is received from different organisations and activities, but the majority comes from the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation through it's Stocked Impoundment Scheme (SIPS) which help us purchase fingerlings to stock these areas.
